I'm Pete, and I've been an Archivist and Biographer since 1986.

 

I live in the West Midlands with my family and a cat called Binx. I enjoy photography, reading and watching my son play cricket. Those who know me will be well aware of my love of music. And sometimes I have a beard.

Being an Archivist is one of the most fascinating jobs you'll ever come across - helping to preserve personal histories for future generations! And it gives me such joy meeting new people who want their stories told so that they can live on through time...

I created The Memory Archive to help families record their own histories by giving people the opportunity to talk about their lives and by preserving it in audio and written formats.
